coyotegirl 3 Posted July 20, 2005 Yea Paula, I am doing FANTASTIC!! I actually enjoy going in for my fills. I get so many complements on how good I am looking. I don't usually get complements on how I look so now I LOVE TO HEAR THEM. I always get complements for things I do, Like fix things, for some reason I can look at something that needs fixed (electronics, furnature, etc) and fix it. So I get complemented for that and now I am getting complements for my looks. WOW ya gotta like that? LOL
wannabskinny2 0 Posted July 20, 2005 Wow! So, does it hurt to get a fill? I go next week to get my 1st one.
coyotegirl 3 Posted July 20, 2005 No, It doesn't hurt at all. He gives me a little numbing shot first. I can feel pressure when he pushes on the port to insert the needle, but that's all. Kind of feels funny!
Iluvharleys 15 Posted July 20, 2005 Great pictures! Thanks for sharing them!
Barb 0 Posted July 20, 2005 Oh my, I had no idea the needle was that big! Somehow through all this research I never got that before, I thought it was a normal needle. I have a hard time with regular needles. I am going to have to really think about this. Terri, thanks for posting the pics. I would have passed out cold if the Dr. had walked in with that needle when I wasn't at all prepared for that. Gives me more to think about. I am a big woos when it comes to needles don't know why I just am.
Road Queen 0 Posted July 20, 2005 Thanks for posting the pictures. I had my first fill yesterday. I made the nurse put a magazine between me and the needle - I told him if he wasn't gonna give me a tattoo I didn't want to see the needle. I can look at the pictures of you but I could not have tolerated watching it happen to me. Thanks.

coyotegirl 3 Posted October 31, 2005 Pabandgal, some dr.'s use smaller needles. When I get my fill from a local dr, she uses a much smaller needle. With either one I do not feel any pain. Good luck
