Jessprinz 0 Posted November 29, 2008 Hi everyone. I was just banded on Monday and was wondering if it is normal to feel the port inside of you. It feels wierd!
Brockbabe82 0 Posted November 29, 2008 I was wondering if I too was the only one with this problem .lol. It does feel weird and I am told by friends who have had this that it is totally normal. I feel mine sticking out and it drives me crazy, but I am sure it will get better as the weight comes of. Good luck hunny.
jazie 0 Posted November 29, 2008 I am 5 months out and mine has only become more noticable to me at least. It is a lot better than the fat though. jazie
abby1 0 Posted November 29, 2008 I've been banded just over a year, the more I lose the more I can feel the port. The only time it bothers me is when the cat decides to walk on it:wink2:

SanDiegoPhotog 0 Posted November 29, 2008 oh yeah . . . I can totally feel my port. And it sucks when the dog or my children jump on me while I'm laying down -- other than that, no problems!
hdsantoni 0 Posted November 29, 2008 I was banded the 24th, and I can feel my port and see it if I pull my shoulders way, way back. I think it totally depends on where your port is located and which kind you have. I have a low profile Realize band and port, and where he placed it is where the bottom of your bra would be between my breast. So no matter what you can't really see it but I can feel it. jazie 0 Posted November 30, 2008 I wonder how a dr decides where he will put the port. Is it the dr that taught him how to do it? Mine is on my left side, under my breast and half way between that and my waist line which I just found out I had. Love this band! jazie
