Good Evening.

TracyKS, love the new look.

Judy, Have a very safe trip and we will all survive knowing that you and the Bobster got lei'd. Yes I said it again. lol.

Laura, tonight at the hospital I went down to the birthing center to see if they had anything for pick up. Well, they had a circumcision kit for pick-up. Made me think of Carson. Good thing that they are young when they have that done.

TracyK, Have a very safe trip and come back all better. We will miss you.

I'm off to bed. Hubby and I have an appointment with a personal trainer in the morning. This one is a guy, really buff also. Than I have my regular persoanl trainer tomorrow night. Boy. I hope I start seeing better results soon.

Night all.

Hi Ladies....went for an esophogram today...ay a hospital near home and where I had my band done....this guy thought that my pouch looked larger than "normal"...I am wondering if my band slipped....I am still having problems 4 wks after fill, even "thicker" liquids sometimes cause great gurgling and go down really slow...I am wondering what they do if it is slipped???? Liquids for a while? or surgery....and of course we are leaving for my sisters tomorrow for the weekend...:smile2:.....my Doc won't get the results til tomorrow late or Monday....

Judy have a great time on your cruise...Kat congrats on the job....everybody else, have a great weekend, but I am sure I will be checking in from Ohio...

Morning gals

running late, long night. tried no pain pills... bad move

not quite there yet.

i hate TOM, ever since i got my tubes tied ... i get a little spotting and goes away for 2 days (but still feel horrible) then on Friday night comes back for 2 days then and from Tues/Wed (spotting day) until Sunday I am so drained, I just can't get enough sleep.< /p>

My door is in, but left my camera at home, today they are going to put trim up and lights outside and finish up some little stuff, that room looks amazing. i'll try to get a pic from my phone and email it later

even not finished it is an amazing difference

have a great day everyone

Oh -- AND they are on the counter right in front of my little Magic Bullet Protein Shake blender, which I always use to make my b'fast!! UGH!

I REALLY don't think you should try the donuts with that new fill.... you will pay and pay and pay alllll morning long! Is your DH the sabotaging type?? Interesting he would choose this time to bring home donuts!?

Aw, Judy....I sure hope you two get caught up in the beauty of Hawaii and enjoy yourselves to the fullest! I'm sure you will. This is YOUR life and you are enjoying the fruits of your good choices!

Your children are not your children.

They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.

They come through you but not from you,

And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,

For they have their own thoughts.

You may house their bodies but not their souls,

For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,

which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

You may strive to be like them,

but seek not to make them like you.

For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

I'm sure you recognize those wise words. :smile2:

Hey Ya'll~

Terry, that was beautiful! Even though I do not have kids, I loved it and think it was nice for Judy as well as other violets to read!

TracyK, have fun on your getaway!

Michelle, enjoy your "do" getting done! While my color is on my guy always gives me a hand massage (hand job) w/ lotion...I LOVE IT! It helps relax me!

Susie~ My Gawd woman...how many personal trainers do you have? You are the exercise guru of the group! I met w/ my trainer today...he is just soooo cute! We worked shoulders and chest today and dabbled w/ biceps! He said repeatedly, "you are looking good..." I have not weighed because i don't care what the number says (and it is usually the same of freakin number anyway) but I KNOW my body has changed...clothes feel differently...posture has improved...and most importantly, my attitude and self confidence have increased 10-fold! WOOHOO!

After work, we are going to Jackie and Melissas w/ some other friends (all girls and mostly lesbians) for a LEMON DROP WII PARTY! Jackie is making cuban food, and Melissa is making lemon drops! Should be fun...and I can really use a drink or 3 (perhaps 5):smile2::thumbup::angry:

HAPPY FRIDAY GRILLS!

Gah, run from the donuts. Someone keeps bringing them to work, my willpower stops at 1.. wish I could say NO in general.. I do say no to the Bagels & cupcakes though!

Have fun Judy! We will miss you!!

Suzie- I KNOW in one of my classes it showed what the weewee looks like with the circumcision contraption on, where it's a bright bright red, it looks awful.

Jane.. I guess text/call/e-mail/post here for me when the time comes. No real strict guidelines, just want to make sure all V's that are available get to find out :smile2:

Laura, I can't wait to hear the news about Carson arriving. He is already a good size :0). I also wanted to mention that I remember being half scared to death of labor and childbirth with my son . . . but this time I am not nervous at all. In case you are nervous, it is really not so bad.

I will send my cell phone number around to everyone. I hope someone will text me as well when the time comes :0).

There's no place like Hawaii, there's no place like Hawaii, there's no place like Hawaii . . . darnit, I can't remember where I last packed those ruby slippers - perhaps in one of the gazillion boxes out in the garage???

While in Turkey, I discovered that they have circumcision parties for a boy when he is arond 6 or so. They dress him up like a prince with a crown and he receives lots of gifts. Although there are positives with the experience . . . can you imagine telling a 6 year old that someone needs to cut off a part of his wee wee???

The simple procedure in the hospital at such a young age would definitely be less memorable but I think preferable, lol.

Back from working out and now drinking a Protein Shake. The guy was really impressed with our knowledge, he basically just watched us and had a few critiques for us. Otherwise we were on our own. We worked out for about 45 minutes. It felt good. I now have my workout to do tonight.

This is my fourth week of a six week routine. I love going to this lady that is working us. She is wonderful and I will miss her alot. I'm hoping in the fall to be able to take her class again. She pushes us but with a loving touch. She apologizes for yelling at us, but we tell her we need it. That's why we sighned up for this, someone to push us the way we need to be pushed.

Bye Judy and Bob. Bon Voyage.

TracyK, have a good time.

Carson's coming soon.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
