Up and getting ready for work. When I get off work I have to head right over to the Doc's for an appointment. He's gonna remove some stuff that I shouldn't have. :tt1: And it's in a very tender area :w00t: I may not be able to sit for a while  Might have to have hubby come and pick me up so I can lay in the back of the truck.

Than I have the rest of the day to relax to it's time for my Boot Camp.

Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, Violets..

I'm just waiting for Ethan to arrive for the day. It's a very dreary looking day out there. We are supposed to get rain most of the day. The upside is that it should get rid of more snow. I can see lawn in the front yard now, but not in the backyard because of all the trees shading the sun.

I have a rehearsal this morning and then choir this evening. I'm going to go over my suitcases and make sure I have packed all the right stuff. I have to find an umbrella for sure.

Jenn.. your house looks wonderful. I love the colors of the kitchen from the cupboards to the countertops to the walls. Very, very nice.

Ethan just arrived so I better scoot. Will check in later.

Buenos Dias Violetas~

Happy Hump Day! I know I mentioned I love cardio, but I also learned I love sleep too! We usually take Wed off from the gym, but kinda wanted to go today (it is my wash hair day...I like cardio on that day). Anyway, I opted for sleep...and now need more sleep. Oh well...I'll go tomorrow!

Going back to the ENT today to "check" on the after of my procedure from last week. WooHoo!

Have a great day!

Southwest airlines does not fly into Huntsville. For me there is no direct flight, crazy!! I hate layovers, I am always totally paranoid I am going to miss the connection!

My head is going to explode it hurts so bad!! I hate spring.

I wonder what today will bring at work. Guess I need to eat my can of Soup before Charlie has a melt down over it.

Tracyk, don't know what is going on, but I hope all gets settled in your life. It is hard to live in upheaval and uncertainty.

Good luck Susie on your removal process today!?!?

Michelle and Judy that bowl exchange was so funny!!!

Laura I want to be part of the tree!!!

Me too---down a little this morning! Amazing how that happens when you don't munch your way through the day! Maybe I should write that down somewhere, since I obviously did not know it before!!!

I too went back to bed this morning Pamela! Then I was woke up by the phone a few minutes later! A woman I know from taking care of her children, wanting me to go to work. She keeps books (as in a CPA) for this Dr. among others, and was talking to the office manager, and they decided I should do it. I am so on the fence it is pathetic!!! If it was August, I would do it without question. But I also need to consider what would be best, in the light of the layoffs at Ricks work. He has vacation time booked every month through the summer. We have a family reunion during one of them, and rallies during the others. We have plans for our cattle sale in TX, and I have my trip to Alabama. Now I could go in there, and request one of those time periods off prior to hiring, but not all of them.

It is also all the way across Farmington, down by the hospital, in the medical plaza (imagine--a Dr. there!!!???) which other than the medical stuff is a pretty rough area of town.

It WOULD keep me out of the house and away from munching all day.

And the $$$ would be nice, the salary she offered was generous.

DD said she never heard he was difficult to work for, just difficult to understand sometimes, especially over the phone. He is African, and dresses in traditional African dress, and is highly regarded in the area.

They want me to work in the office, and also in the lab, since I did lab work before.

I am going to go talk to them face to face here in a couple of hours, during the lunch break from patients. I am just so undecided it is ridiculous. I think I am weighing the difference between what my brain tells me would be a good decision, and what my heart is yelling No Don't take away all the fun!

Slept great last night. I think maybe my tossing and turning for awhile has been late night snacking. I have NEVER been able to sleep when I am full, and I was eating all the time. Now the last 2 nights, with my stomach less full, I have slept great.

I have made my tea, and began sipping it, still seems like it is moving slow. BUT everything is moving, I am not dehydrating or anything, my Soup and all my liquids yesterday went down without issue. I know I need to drink more---will work on that today. Got all my Vitamins and junk in, without issue. Everything I take is either chewable, or small tho, so no worries there. Kinsey and I share vitamins!

What fruit trees we had bloomed, got their buds froze off last couple of nights. Our apricot and peach trees had begun blooming, the others had not yet. Which figures, the apricots and peaches are what I always want, and they seldom make it. The apples, pears and cherries almost always do! They are actually predicting snow for us later in the week.

They guy out back showed up last night, right on time, but there was no dinner!!!! I made the pot of soup and Rick loves it, so he said that was fine by him. I told him, I am on liquids for several days, so he is not welcome to my soup---I want the leftovers myself! How selfish am I??!! He come in, and Rick was sitting here surfing ebay, and I was trying to stay awake in my recliner!! He told Rick he was going to be going to Texas (sorry my TX girls), and his papers should be signed to let the realtor deal with the house by the end of April. Rick told him...and I quote "You are really going to go chase after her after what she's putting you through? Sounds like a dumbass move to me, but dude you're gonna have to be moved on before that, way before that. I was talking this weekend, not next month." He got all quiet, and tells Rick "that's harsh man" and Rick calmly told him, he didn't think so. That he moved in on Valentines day for 2 weeks, and that was 6 weeks ago. That he wants access to his shop, he cannot afford the additional expenses electrically, and all, and he wants his privacy back in the yard and his shop. He told him we just got all our kids moved out, we enjoy being alone. His response was he would see what he could figure out, and wished us a good night and left. He is still out there this morning, I see nothing packing up or happening. I wanted to jump up and kiss my husband!!! HusBAND, LapBAND---I am pretty happy with them both this morning!

Guess I will go see if I have anything that fits me. My old clothes are thankfully still too big, my new ones feel way to tight and revealing of my new rolls. So hope something works, then if I go to work I will wear it day after day until some of the weight goes and my new clothes work again!!!

XOXOXO

Morning V's! Well, afternoon I guess...

Coworker who just had baby, emailed pics this morning. Oh my goodness, so sweet!! And Carson is already 1lb bigger than this boy!!!

More crazy customers, doing a conference call after lunch today.

My hip is feeling SO much better after the vacation, I don't know if it was the spa or the beds(they were so comfortable), or all the walking I did (hurt at the time, but it felt like it may be working kinks out). I still hurt, but it's completely bearable. I am going to try bowling tonight, if it hurts at all I'm going to stop.

Need to round up all the V's.. Tracy W. and Haydee!!

Back from the Doc's. They will be calling me later today to set up the "Surgery". Ok, it turns out it's a polyp and it needs to be surgically removed. He can do it in their surgery suite right there at the office, it just needs to be sterile. He is also going to remove some skin tags that I have on my eye lids. Those have to be frozen off. He said it will be really uncomfortable. I told Hubby he was going to have to come along so he can drive. The polyp will be cauterized (sp?) and will have several stitches in it. I'll be on antibiotics because of the area it is in. He's afraid that when I'm on the stool that it might get infected. So, there I go.

After that Hubby and I went to a fitness center to check it out. The Y charges 47.50 a month for just the Hubby. This place is 29.00 for him and 15 extra for me. The only difference is that they don't have a pool or a track around it. They don't have a daycare or an aerobics room. Things we never used. The one thing I do like about it is that they have 24 hour access 7 days aweek. That means that I can work out on Sundays if I want. Hubby is worried about them not having a track and I told him he could just get outside with me and walk. During the winter he can just use the treadmill.

Now I'm free for the rest of the day till it's time to go to my Boot Camp. I think I'll rest and get caught up on some shows I have missed.

My scale was also down today but I've been pushing the Water for the last 3 days.

I'll check in soon, Hugs.

Subject: Catholic Mothers

Four Catholic mothers were having coffee together and discussing

How wonderful their children are. The first mother tells her friends,

"My son is a priest. When He walks into a room; everyone calls him 'Father'."

>

The second Catholic woman chirps, "Well, my son is a Bishop. When ever he walks into a room, people say, 'Your Grace'."

>

The third Catholic woman says smugly, "Well, not to put you down, but my son is a Cardinal. Whenever he walks into a room, people say,

'Your Eminence'."

The fourth Catholic woman sips her coffee in silence.

The First three women give her a subtle "Well...?"

>

She replies, "My son is a handsome, 6' 2", hard-bodied Chippendale's Stripper. Whenever he walks into a room, all the women say, 'Oh, My God!

Kat - my house closed the day after I left for my honeymoon back in 2001. The realtor was my dear friend so I signed papers (power of atty) for her to handle the closing. It took 1.5 minutes to sign those papers, not 5 weeks!! What is UP with this dude? You may have to end up calling the sherriff! Grrrrrrrrrrrr. He's just taking advantage of Rick's good nature.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
