lucymae 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Just went in for my third fill and doctor had a hard time adding more. He said I am at a point where I can easily get too tight, yet he wants to restrict me more. Finding that "sweet spot" is sometimes hard. After drinking 3 cups of Water he told me that if I did not fill restriction to call him on Monday and he will do a fill with a fluoroscopy. So far I feel no restriction. What will a fluoroscopy do to help with my third fill? Is this worth the extra trip to the doctor? I still need to lose 15 pounds. AAA022414 13 Posted November 23, 2008 a fill through fluroscopy is the only kind of fill i've had so i'm not sure if it's better or not?? I know it does allow the doctor to see how liquid is going through so he doesn't send you away too tight or too loose. My 2nd fill he put too much in and then when we did the barium swallow it didn't want to go empty out of the pouch so he took a little bit out and we did the swallow again and it then it was perfect. Had i been sent home like that, who knows how i would have felt. I don't know, I think it's worth it...I think it helps them be a little more exact so that maybe you'll have less problems??
