It was so good to hear from you Rose, keep up your good strength. China, I am so sorry about the loss. Death is a very hard thing. Except for my weight not coming off, things are going well with work, family and eating. Have a great day. Laurel

hi everybody im here well we made it through funeral was the day before thanksgiving. he was 37 yrs old. mark (my dude) is taking it rather hard but, i think he is going to be ok. as for thanks g i eat alittle but, not much. im just taking things one day at a time. i think i have gained havent gotten on the scale in a min. but, i will go monday an see what the damage is.

Stay strong China, it is a very hard time. I did have a nsv, last black friday, i bought a pair of jeans that I said would be my goal to be able to wear this christmas. Well, i got them on yesterday, they are tight, but they zip. So now have to get some belly off to fit good. Have a great day, Laurel

wow thats some thing to be excited about. well everyone i started a 2010 weightloss challenge its 11wks to see how much weight you can loose by 2/14/10 i hope everyone joins so if everyone could please join that would be so great. it here under the december form. its called"how low can you go in 2010"

Stay strong China, it is a very hard time. I did have a nsv, last black friday, i bought a pair of jeans that I said would be my goal to be able to wear this christmas. Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend. I ended up going on Sat. for an unfill. I think I had flu and was throwing up so much, i actually just burned inside. Feeling much better today but back to square one again. I have to go get tested to make sure I didn't slip. Well, have a great week. I am going to try my hardest not to gain being at zero. Laurel

Hello Ladies,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss China. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Well my mothers battle with cancer is over she is now at peace and with my Dad in heaven. She passed away at my home on Friday night. She is an angel now. The funeral is tomorrow and I am having a very hard time.....I miss her so much......she has lived with me for 10 years. Its just so empty without her. Please pray for her.

thank you i to am sorry for your loss. and yes it is hard when you lose someone you love. mark(my Dude) is having a really hard time. as he just spoke to him the nite before. i keep trying to comfort him but, its hard cuz i just dont know what to say or do. my heart goes out to you and your family. i know how i felt when my granny passed in 01 i still cry. if you ever need to talk or just someone to listen im here.

Rose, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Make sure you take care of yourself too. Remember the good times and cherish them in your heart. China, I hope all is going good for you. I had to get all Fluid out of my band this weekend. I had a stomache virus. I am here for both of you. Laurel

I felt like i got ran over by a mack truck, lol. I was able to get Water down, it would just come back up within an hour. I had my test down yesterday, I didn't slip. So over christmas break, I am going to start getting filled again. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Laurel

sorry to hear your not feeling well. i to had to get some more Fluid removed. and think im gonna have to get more out. im down to like 1.3cc. it almost feels like im allergic to the fills. i can eat but, its coming right back up and i seem to be pb till im throwing up foam. so i dont know. trying to hang in there. hell who said this band was da easy way out. what a lie

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

      Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

        Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
