bubz 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Hey all! im bubz! im 24,F and from perth, australia. i was banded on 15/11/08 so im 3 days post op. I cant wait to get to know everyone and start chatting and making new friends! i dont really know anyone personally that has had a lap band done so im still learning and trying to figure out if what im feeling etc is normal!! talk soon Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bubz 0 Posted November 19, 2008 Hey there, thanks for the welcome! i think im feeling ok lol. still a bit tender but its getting better. i can walk around with a lot more ease now and im not hunched over lol. i keep getting this odd feeling tho that im going to throw up but i dont. it doesnt burn or anything but i can feel it up thru my chest n throat but then it stops! hmm anyone else have this? Alex R. 0 Posted November 19, 2008 What you are feeling is pretty normal. Many banders are surprised to learn how high up on the anatomy the band is - so you do feel it in your chest.
