steph_co 9 Posted November 17, 2008 I'm sorry to keep loading down the forum with posts. LOL But I think I'm losing it. I took some pics of myself earlier today for a project I'm taking part in. I just got back from taking my car in for service. I saw the pics and it does NOT look like me. Is that seriously me??? It looks like somebody pasted my head on someone else's body and made my face thinner, to boot. I'm truly beginning to understand body dysmorphia. I haven't even lost that much since my last pics and yet there's a HUGE difference. I'm almost scared to make goal.

scarecrow 4 Posted November 20, 2008 Well I tried to find a smiley face that looked like he was whistling at ya, but there doesn't seem to be one. You look excellent though, be happy! Your face has lost the weight VERY well, you look like you never looked any different. I'm so jealous.... I guess I was just delusional, but when I was really heavy seeing myself would startle me - I just didn't feel that heavy. I recognize myself better now that I'm losing it. Weird, I know : /

gone 4 ever 6 Posted November 22, 2008 Scarecrow, I understand exactly what you are saying. I was "never as big " as I actually was. I would see me still at 250-260, not over 300. Now I see the actual me when I look. Pictures help me keep a dose of reality about what I do look like. I think it is more common than either you or I may think. Anyone else reading this with this thinking?
Momto1plus1 0 Posted November 23, 2008 LOL Steph I bet we can all identify with you. Recently, I was looking at some pictures that my DH took. I couldn't figure out who the woman was in the picture, and why in the world he would be taking a picture of another woman's backside. LOL I asked him who it was and he starte laughing. It was me.
