nesser081982 0 Posted November 17, 2008 I was banded on April 29th, and everything went fine. I haven't really lost a ton of weight or anything, but for about the last 3 months a friend of mine and I have been walking every day for an hour at lunch..... well, until about two months ago, I had been getting Aunt Flo around the same time every month for about a week (whereas pre-op I'd been getting it anywhere from two weeks to two months), well anyways....... So now for the last two months I haven't been getting it at all.... Is this something that I should be concerned about? is it because I've been walking? Anyone else have this happen? Thanks! Not a lot info -- are you peri menopausal? It sounds like pre-band you were irregular and once banded became more regular. Now you've added in some exercises so that could maybe affect it as well. Bottom line, if there is a significant change in our bodies (e.g., weight, illness, nutrition) it can affect your period. I'm very regular and always have been my entire life, but last year for no apparent reason my period became very irregular for a few months and my gyno said as long as you are having at least one period every 3 months or so and you have no other symptoms, it's not really a cause for concern. Thanks for the info Donna I'd hope that I wasn't premenopausaul, I'm only 26 so I shouldn't be But weirder things have happened.... Anyways, I was thinking that it could have been my nutrition or weight affecting it.... I guess, I'll just wait and see what happens next month, and if I still don't get it, I'll go in :tt2:
