speck 1 Posted November 14, 2008 I am two months out and I have done great up until several weeks ago. All cravings went away and I felt a huge burden lifted. However, now that things are going back to normal and I have no restriction, I feel like I'm back sliding a little. To be honest I have lost most of my weight of straight willpower. I had my first fill about three weeks ago and that did nothing. I go for my 2nd fill in a couple of weeks. Anyways, did you catch yourself "just having one small brownie"? And if so, did good restriction finally get you back on target? I really want to catch this before it spirals out of control. TIA
luluc 6 Posted November 14, 2008 95% of the time i was good while working towards restriction. i'm not a cake/cookie/sweet lover - but i can never pass up chips & queso - my vice. perfectly normal, what always kept me check was stepping on the scale...if it went up or went up & down for a bit - i got serious again. laurigee 545 Posted November 14, 2008 Well, it definately sounds like you could use a fill. I am a chocolate freak. I am not willing to give this up. I feel like if I did I would just be fooling myself for a short time and when I went off the wagon it would be worse. What I do is, if I want my little snack, I figure out how many calories it is going to be. Then, when I exercise, I have to excercise off that many extra calories. Believe it or not, sometimes when I finish I don't feel like eating it. But on the other hand, sometimes I do. Either way I get to decide whether it's worth it that day or not. Keeps me in control and on track. Good Luck
