Newbie getting banded Dec 12th!!!!

I just booked my surgery for December 12th. I have been reading and reading. This is my first post. I am so excited yet scared at the same time. I know I am making the right decision.

Congratulations, its exciting right!! I have mine booked for Nov. 24th, just had my pre-op appointment with my doctor and he says im on the right track! I start my liquid diet next week! Yay to you!! I hope things go great for you!

Congratulations! I was banded April 21, 2008. It has been an interesting experience. Has it been easy? Yes, sometimes and then other times, not so much. Keep in mind, that the band doesn't fail you. You fail the band. So if you are not losing weight like you should, then you need to see what you are doing wrong. The band is only a tool. I love my band. It keeps me from overeating.
