I am so happy....my UTI will not postpone my surgery so tomorrow is a "go"....the hospital did call and change the time from Noon to 10:45....yeah, just means I get to be a bandster one hour and 15 minutes early than planned!!

My surgeon was Dr. Arturo Rodriguez, in Monterrey. Everything went great and I am doing great. It will be one week on Thursday. If you see this post tell him I said Hi and that I am doing great. I will send him an e-mail later in the week.

My August Banded Buddies - my surgery is set for 8/25 with Dr. Covarrubias in Mexico. Scared but ready to get it over with! I am praying that everyone does well and that we have lots of success! /chris

I am having my band done this Friday August 19th in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico by Dr. Joya.. I haven't been ABLE TO sleep AT ALL!

Stephanie I know how you feel! I just got the approval from my insurance company and the date is definitely 8/29!! I go for my pre-op on 8/24!!!! Yeehaaa!!!!!!

My surgery was August 3rd! I'm so excited about my new life. My insurance company United Health Care paid 100% of surgery as well as 100% of the surgeon's fee. They have the best coverage and I feel wonderful!

i was banded aug 10 . united health care paid all of mine also . they are a good insurance company.
