newchristy1224 0 Posted November 7, 2008 Yup. They tell me this tightness is from the air they pumped in during surgery. Man is it uncomfortable! When I lie down it hurts like the devil for about 5 min. Frankly, I'm a bit scared at how this is going to effect me. I don't want to be out to dinner with friends and have to run to the bathroom to throw up. Also, there are a lot of people on these sights that don't seem to be loosing a lot of weight. This was a pretty drastic thing to do and I'm hoping this gets my weight off at a prety good clip. Oh, I didn't say that I am 2 days post op and can identify with the general yuckiness.:thumbup: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bowery 0 Posted November 7, 2008 I think that if we follow the correct eating guidelines the weight will come off no question I think its important to look at the big picture rather than short term .Gee its all been uncomfortable though my belly feels twice the usual size and the poor thing is big already.
