laurigee 545 Posted November 8, 2008 I was very active prior to surgery, I just ate too much. I had my surgery on Friday at 5:00p.m. and Sunday afternoon I went outside a push mowed my lawn. I was so pumped up about my new life I just wanted to keep moving. I don't like to take pain medication so I used advil instead. Which for me worked. I think pain meds can make you tired and nauseous, so I stay away from them. Everyone heals differently and your going to have to listen to your body, it will let you know. Good Luck
