Ewiedbingcott 9 Posted November 5, 2008 Help!! I was doing fine. Lost 15# in my pre-surgery (1 week) liquid diet and post banding. I went from liquids to mushys and now I've gained 3#! I must be doing something wrong. I've written down my food and I'm eating somewhere between 700-900 calories. I seem to be able to eat a lot more than the 1/2 cup my doctor's office says I should be eating at one sitting. Anyone have any ideas?
Froggi 4 Posted November 5, 2008 It's normal to gain weight when you finally get back to foods that have some consistency. Post op diet is for healing and you will start losing again soon.
zoomomma 1 Posted November 5, 2008 This is what is referred to as bandster hell. Don't worry after your fill things will be better. You will start to lose again. This is how I understand it, anyway. Not banded and not looking forward to bandster hell. But I'll do what it takes to get healthy. Hope this helps.
