medications stalling weight loss???

Has anyone that hasn't lost like they thought they should, found that a medication they were on was responsible? I know some medications cause weight gain, appetite changes, etc. I take Paxil and oral birth control and am wondering if either of these or possibly both are partly to blame for my EXTREMELY slow weight loss (banded 18 mos and down 15 pounds!!!!):thumbup:

I found if medications were making things difficult before they still did after the band. Some people do better changing to new meds but that never worked for me but others have had luck. Nancy.:thumbup:

did u ask ur doctor what he/she thinks about it? maybe u just need another fill...im on synthroid and i know the weight is gonna come of slowly but im ok with that...just talk to ur doctor so they can help u get thro this stall...good luck
