juliatabor 0 Posted November 4, 2008 Last night i had a scuba lesson and it was the 1st time Ive been down to any significant depth. Since then I have got a pulsating sensation next to my port (its to my right of the port , above my belly button and its deep down inside). its not painful just annoying as it's constant, pulsating every second. It feels like an air bubble thats trapped. its not so noticeable when Im moving around but when Im lying down still it is very noticeable and the continual pulsating stopped me from sleeping. Im really worried. Has anyone had anything like this after scuba diving with a band? Julia

MacMadame 81 Posted November 4, 2008 You should probably contact your own surgeon, first, though. Anyway, Mythbusters did an episode on exploding breast implants and they tested saline filled ones and there wasn't enough of a difference to cause a problem when deep sea diving. Bands are much smaller and have much less saline so I'm thinking maybe it was something else to do with your healing or it could be a problem with how your band was filled. Definitely something to talk to your surgeon about because you really shouldn't have felt anything.
