Sorry I wasn't clear My doc often says to just eat 1/2 cup of "food" OR 2 oz of Protein. He doesn't mean 2 oz or 1/2 cup of the same thing...I think he means it more like "1 cup or 1/2 cup" (2 different options) or 1/2 cup or 2 oz (2 different options) or Water or skim milk (2 different options) BUT I wasn't clear! So yes, 2 oz by weight of some things may be a 1/2 cup volume but that's not what I meant.
