I don't get it....

1/2 cup is not 2 ounces, but it's 4 ounces. There are 8 ounces in a cup.

Teri LOL I know 2 oz are only 1/4 cup! Sorry I wasn't clear

My doc often says to just eat 1/2 cup of "food" OR 2 oz of Protein. He doesn't mean 2 oz or 1/2 cup of the same thing...I think he means it more like "1 cup or 1/2 cup" (2 different options) or 1/2 cup or 2 oz (2 different options) or Water or skim milk (2 different options)

BUT I wasn't clear! So yes, 2 oz by weight of some things may be a 1/2 cup volume but that's not what I meant.

Just start with a very small portion! :biggrin:

my band date was 9-8-08. i had the same feeling, my first fill was october 24th. i can maybe feel a little more restriction, i was hoping for full. i'm going to schedule my second fill and hope to get more of the full feeling i'm looking for

when you all say restriction.....do you mean it feels hard going down.....tight???? That's what I mean my restriction. :-)
