chicamam1 1 Posted November 2, 2008 i just bought dance dance revolution on the wii for my daugher, and i worked out to it today. IT was pretty awesome. It has a workout mode and i burned 100 calories ( so it said ) lol doing about 20 minutes worth of dancing. Has anyone used this before. Its sure alot of fun and seems to give me a good workout since im using my arms and legs. jumping and etc. Id definatly like to hear comments.
KarenFY09 0 Posted November 3, 2008 I love DDR! I noticed the other day they have a Hottest Dance Party II out for the Wii. I couldn't buy it because I had my husband with me. There is also a game called Outdoor challenge which has a similar pad - except its 2-player on one pad and you can play Stomp A Mole, or jump over logs. Its alot of fun too. I have not used the dance on the Wii but have looked at the disk today while at Gamestop. Do you need a mat or anything besides the disk? I know with the Wii Fit you have to have the board. KarenFY09 0 Posted November 5, 2008 Yes you need a mat. They sell universal ones at Gamestop for around 20 bucks that work on the Wii. I bought Hottest Party II yesterday. The nicest improvement is you can play a few songs in a row in workout mode, so you don't have to pause in between.

Thanks, the reason I ask was I had found a used one for sale at Gamestop and didn't know if I would need to just get it out of the box and be good to go or not. cat2207 0 Posted November 5, 2008 I used DDR in the past, but I am a Curves addict. I have been going to Curves for Women for 6 years, and I love it. In and out in 30 minutes for a complete workout.
