I am wanting to start exercising to "Sweating to the oldies" with Richard Simmons. I know I can go online and buy the DVDs but to tell you the truth we are really tight with cash right now. I am not able to work and my husband is out of sick leave and has been for a couple months now (his back). I was wondering, does anyone have a copy they may be able to burn onto the computer and send to me? I have tried d/l the video but I can't seem to find it on any downloading site. No, downloading videos is not against the law unless you burn and sell them. I just want to use them in my home.

you know maybe I am outta place to say this but that would be copyright infringement to say the least. No different than stealing music. You are misinformed to think you have to sell it for it to be a crime.

Yes downloading videos is against the law even if you don't burn and sell them. You are obtaining a copy for your use without paying for it. Both the person offering it for download and the person downloading it are breaking the law.

I wasn't talking about selling a recording you aren't using anymore, I'm talking about copying it or downloading it. One copy paid for, multiple copies in use, that is against the law. I was just pointing out that the original poster had been given some wrong information when she was told it wasn't illegal.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
