Has anybody heard of this?

I was just reading an article on MSN Health that mentioned it, and I think it's kind of interesting. It might kind of go hand-in-hand with lap-band patients - unfortunately it costs in the neighbourhood of $500!

But it's an interesting thought - it could help bandsters train themselves to take smaller bites and eat more slowly.

I thought that was what getting "stuck" did for us. the few times I've been really stuck, I knew I had to take smaller bites and eat more slowly!

I probably would have tried this before getting the band, but now I really have to train myself to take smaller bites for the rest of my life. I really cant stand the thought of spending $13 000 for my band then more money on something else to help me take smaller bites lol.
