Healed32 0 Posted October 29, 2008 Hi everyone, My hubby just told me today that he wanted to go to Disney world for the week of Thanksgiving. I love Disney World. I have had my band for 4 weeks. I am supposed to have my first fill Nov. 5th. If I go to Disney what would I eat? We would have to eat counter service for finances and I can't think of any healthy options. Anyone experience anything like this> All help and suggestions will be appreciated.

Many of the counter service places have options for your sides. You can get veggies or fruit instead of fries in most cases. Also if you call Disney in advance they can provide menu information for you. In each place they have some sort of healthy option available. Plus they all have a kids menu too. Here is a page that will help you a lot. WDW Dining Special Requests It has a listing of some quick service places that can accommodate most dietary requirements. heidi8 0 Posted November 8, 2008 Squee, my first post on these forums and I get to be helpful! I suggest checking out the menus at WDWIG/AllEars - you can see a menu for each of the counter service restaurants - and you can get things like grapes at the pushcarts all around the Parks - they have Dole froze-fruit bars, too. In EPCOT, I definitely recommend visiting The Land - they have a wide range of healthy and fantastic foods there. You also might want to bring some portable Protein that you can mix into Water along the way, and you're allowed to bring your own Water bottles into the park, but don't overdo it because you don't want to lug multiple heavy bottles around.
