Anyone thats been banded for awhile now have there special ways of motivating themselfs to push that harder to loose weight... ive started gym and going for walks with my gf but what happens when that slows down any suggestions???? foods recipes? exercising ideas? eating methods...

Weight loss (especially the last 22#) is hard work. Walking probably isn't going to cut it, hard cardio will. Try running, cutting down on calories, cut out white carbs, kick butt, work your body, get out there and lose those pounds!

You can do it, it just takes hard work.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
