Ya know what? As much as I'd love to be dripping with diamonds, I'd have to turn down a 4 karat it it meant I have to wear it on my face! On my tiara, yes.

My ex co-worker (I never could figure out why she was working) sports a 5-carat ring. I must admit some ring-envy there. O.K., a lot.

I have a 5 ct ring. Of course, mine is the finest glass... I think anyway. Maybe she works for personal satisfaction? As a hobby? Some people are not happy unless they feel productive.

I just don't understand the whole peircing thing. A couple of the kids in my ceramics class were into some serious piercing, like suspension piercing. On of my neices sets off metal detectors... and except for her ears, none of her's are visible

HAHA that zipper is hilarious. That's awesome.

I have 3 sets of ear piercings. I had a tongue piercing, but it closed up when I took out the bar for my band surgery, and I haven't had any interest really in getting it redone. It was cool for a while, but now that it's gone I don't miss it. I had my belly button done twice, but it never healed right (that was the part about me lying to myself thinking that I wasn't so big). I haven't decided when I'll get it done again, either at onederland or at goal, but I'm definitely having it done again. Haven't really decided on any others. I don't really care to have TOO many holes all over the place, lol. :(

Awe man, I thought this was about real piercings.....dammit :( I LOVE PIERCINGS. I have four holes in each ear, my nose and I am thinking of a few more in time..eha! Some you can see, some you can't.....la la la!!!!

Delarla....I know a GREAT special effects company that could send something very simular to this zipper to you with complete instructions on how to apply for a realistic effect. You should get one and "surprize" your husband some day! He would fall off his chair!! ehehehe DO IT !! DO IT !! DO IT !! No peer pressure from me though.....

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
