itsallaboutMEb 0 Posted October 25, 2008 got my band 10/21 (yeah!) they said the bandages would fall off in 3-4 days but mine r stuck on there good and the nurse I'm supposed to call with questions is off and I don't wana bother the surgeon again for silly stuff . Maribelle 0 Posted October 25, 2008 My doctor said I could take the gauze bandages off after 3 days, and that the steristrips below the bandage would fall off on their own after 10-11 days. You have to take the gauze off on your own. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
travelinsnorkel 0 Posted October 25, 2008 I was allowed to take my gauze off the next day and then the steri strips started coming off themselves in7-10 days. I had to pull them off because not wanting to do anything normally, I had an allergic reaction to the steri strips (the adhesive, I'm also allergice to bandaid adhesive) and they couldn't be on anymore!
