MissMom24 2 Posted October 25, 2008 Jacole... Here is a kick in the booty!!! Hopefully that will work.... It is so hard for us emotional eaters....just keep focusing on the goal and how awesome you will feel once you hit the 100 pound mark!
lapbandtalker 0 Posted October 25, 2008 The band was made to overcome just your issue. I've experienced many life stressors over the past year or so and have 'binged'....but the band keeps me in check. It's a great tool.
laurigee 545 Posted October 25, 2008 Jacole...I think that all of us have experienced what you are going through. I think that we have all been using food in the wrong way for so long that we don't know what to do other than eat when were stressed, depressed, overworked or overtired. I come on this site when I know that I am vulneralble. It seems to help me out. I hope you get back on track. Good Luck
BethFromVA 5 Posted October 26, 2008 Jacole, when possible, what if you go for a walk or do some other exercise or activity when you feel the stress hit? Not only do you not eat then, but you get moving a bit or get something done around the house or in the yard.
di1138 8 Posted October 26, 2008 Hang in there you are soooooo close to your goal! You are an inspiration to others. Just put this bad time behind you and stop beating yourself up. You have done great! Give yourself credit for that. Start listening to your band again. Good luck and in a month or two let us all Celebrate your 100 lbs.
