I am 58 years old and would like to enjoy the rest of my life instead of being in pain every day due to my weight. So please join my friends and family in our prayers. Thanks! Please forgive me for being cynical but does such a Doctor exist that will not accept a patient who has either a) insurance plus the co-pay or :thumbup: self-pay? harrishilton 0 Posted October 25, 2008 I am hoping that my health issues will prompt him to do the surgery rather than prevent me from having it. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol. acid reflux, hiatal hernia, bad knees and trouble breathing. From what I understand, some or all of these problems may be corrected with the surgery.
