2billquist 0 Posted October 19, 2008 I spent much of the night last night throwing up stomach bile. No food, just acid. It hurt and was terrible. I took a lot of tums and pepto that didn't help at all. Has anyone else had this problem? I was tightened up a couple of weeks and go and this is when the problem began. I don't understand how after over a year I would start to have problems like this.:w00t:
brattyone808 0 Posted October 19, 2008 Dear Miserable, please contact your doctors office asap it sounds like your band may be too tight, I experienced something like that before and it's very uncomfortable and can be very painful, hope you feel better soon my friend. 2billquist 0 Posted October 19, 2008 Thanks for the response. I wondered if it was too tight as well but I wasn't throwing up food it was just stomach acid. Has anyone else had this problem?
JessyInSD 0 Posted October 19, 2008 If I eat too late at night I find that my band doesn't empty out and I'll get reflux at night. So what I've done is force myself to empty what might be in my pouch before I go to sleep and I can sleep the whole night. Might not be the best thing to do but I'm not interested in getting an un-fill until I've gotten to my goal weight. (another 10 Lbs). If you don't want to PB then maybe you can drink hot Water about an hour before bed to clear out any food still left lingering. Jessy
Ange05 0 Posted October 19, 2008 This happened to me a few times and it was because of the following: - I had something to eat or drink to close to bed time, it doesn't all go down and you have to throw up. - I took medication with Water to close to bed time and the same thing happened, dry reaching, pretty much acid / saliva that is coming back up.
