Bf/after LBL - Quick Peak! Then removing.

Recommended Posts

With great reservation I am putting up one month before and after photos. I hope I made them decent enough. I am going to take them down really soon so if you PM me I will send them to you seperately.

I am really pleased with the results. I do not have butt pictures which is by far the greatest change for me but you can tell a little from the side view shot. As you can also tell by my belly button I am still pretty swollen. I am hoping to get more definition in my waist.

Here goes!

WOW !!! Forget about the swelling....you look great !!!

I want to thank you for posting these pictures, I've been trying to figure out what I might look like after a TT and your 'before' picture is a lot like the skin/tummy I'm dealing with. Funny actually, we've lost almost the identical amount of weight !!!

Congrats and thanks again !!!

THanks guys! Its nice to have the positive feedback since it is so scary posting these pictures. I have to admit that so far I am extremely pleased - I can't even believe that is me sometimes. I wish I had some pics comparing my butt though because most of the skin removed was from my behind. I am really lucky - my surgeon did an AMAZING job.

Wow, I'm floored, you look amazing. Your before tummy looks just like mine does now....makes me think again about saving that $20k I was quoted earlier this year for a LBL.

THanks so much for your kind words. It means so much coming from people who totally understand where I am at! I feel like my shape is really sqaure right now which takes adjusting to ... as you can see from the before picture I have always been curvy, even after losing weight. Now as you can see I am almost like a sqaure! I hope my waist will get smaller but even if it doesn't I am thrilled. I'll leave this up for a day or two more and then when I take them down - whoever wants to see me can PM.

Hi KarenG, Wow!! Congratulations you look great. Thank you for being brave enough to put your photos on here. I have lost 25 kilos (55lbs) since January and have a very saggy stomach. I now think I might consider a TT when I have lost the rest of my weight. I hope you are feeling wonderful. You should.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
