Approved - FINALLY

Well, after twice daily calls to APRA to organise release of super funds to pay for the band I just found out today that I'm approved. Surgery is now a go ahead for Tuesday, 4th November (Melbourne Cup Day here in Australia). I have a dietician and surgeon appointment tomorrow.

I must admit, as soon as I'd hung up from being approved the nerves set in instantly. AM I READY FOR THIS!!!!

I have to send the APRA letter away to my super fund for the cash but my fund tells me this should only take 5 days. Tight I know. So if the cash doesn't come through by 3rd November (the day I have to pay for everything) I'll have to max out 3 of my credit cards to pay for it.

Here's to a thinner me.

Hi T,

Don't let the nerves get the better of you. We all go through the anxiety beforehand. I was done in January and have lost 25 kilos. I don't regret it one bit. Exercise is a big part of it though. I can eat anything as long as I take my time. I'm sure you won't regret your decision. Read every thing you can but don't fixate on all the bad stuff as most people don't post unless they have a problem. You usually don't hear from most of the ones without a problem (like me). Good luck on the beginning of your new (thinner, heathier) life.

Thanks saleel22. I've set mysef a little goal of losing 40 first. I'm sure my goal weight will be a further 30 or so though.
