franp 8 Posted July 1, 2005 Hi, my name is Fran and I will be getting my band on July 4 at the Molding Clinic. My son had surgery last Dec. 21 and is down 70 lbs. Dr. Grossbard did his. I decided to go to Mexico because it is $10,000 less that what he paid. I will be traveling alone and am a bit concerned about the trip home. I will be flying back to Tampa and changing planes in Phoenix. My flight is about 7 hrs. Has anyone had any problems with flying that soon after surgery? Thanks for the help! La_madam 20 Posted July 1, 2005 Congratulations on your upcoming surgery, it is great that you will have your son to go through this journey with you. Flying home , you should be OK, I would take along some Gas X and liquid Tylenol Adult strenght, in the event you have some uncomfortablness on the flight home. I have several friends who fly to Mexico for fills and they have to fly home with plane changes, it just makes for a long day but they all make it home safe, just tired Good Luck on Monday
