Guest BikiniBeachy Posted October 14, 2008 I tried a Carnation Instant Breakfast. I asked my DB to bring me the low carb sugar free one, but he didn't ;(. I drank it anyway, and definitely won't make a habit of it because it's considerably high in sugar and carbs, but I feel so so so SO much better! I just wanted to share for people on liquid diets, I was so sick of broth and Isopure. this was exactly what I needed. I wanna go get the no sugar added version and live on it til smoft stage. Mellis 0 Posted October 14, 2008 Another thing I did when I was at my wits end--I made a very liquid cream of wheat(used double the amount of liquid-i used milk to up the protien)--remember giving Cereal to baby so they would sleep through the night?--same effect! My band date was 10/7.Mimi lol, that's funny. Counting down the hours. I'm only 4 days post-op considering that I didn't have my surgery until about 7:00 PM on the 10th but I can see myself watching the clock when the time comes to transition. I'm afraid I might get dizzy and fall on my face before long. Right now I'm fine hunger wise but I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to survive off broth and SF Jello, which is probably adding up to about 100 cals. a day. I need some healthy caloric ideas for the clear liquid stage.
