salome000 0 Posted October 14, 2008 I'm pretty sure it was HeatherO who suggested the Livestrong.com site, where you can use the daily plate function and track your food. I'm completely addicted to this...it's free and will look up all your foods and keep track of your Protein, calories, etc. I highly recommend this site to all banders...it's helped me keep some semblance of control during the last two weeks since the band and feeling like I could do some damage to a #1 Burger King combo
RestlessMonkey 7 Posted October 14, 2008 Isn't HeatherO the bee's knees? I'll check out that site now!
RestlessMonkey 7 Posted October 14, 2008 Ok I am TOTALLY hooked on that site! I hate "journaling" but it's, uh, fascinating? I think I'm gonna love it!
Judy_AL 0 Posted October 14, 2008 Your right guy's this is a good one - I tried a couple of the other that were suggested on this site - but find the dailyplate to be easier.
HeatherO 7 Posted October 14, 2008 Tracking makes all the difference in the world. There are so many good sites out there. I still use fitday.com primarily because it was my first and has sooo mucchhh history on it now, it is hard to leave. :0)
Melody2006 1 Posted October 14, 2008 I also use the daily plate. It makes all the difference. Guessing at calorie intake isn't going to work. Also by using the daily plate you know how much sodium, Fiber, fat & Protein your taking in.
