Recommended Posts

My surgery was in june 6 of this year haven

t had any complications so far, yesterday i helped moved some heavy equipment including a piano, having having to lift and strain to lift it up into a truck. Now everything EVERYTHING i eat is getting stuck and i have to throw it back up, other than calling my doctor which is the obvious i need suggestions on what i might of done, and what i can do.

Maybe it's just irritated the band? Try liquids for the rest of the day.

See if it doesn't calm down. Try mushies tomorrow morning and you can call your doc if you're still having issues (as you said)

They say stress makes the band tight so maybe stress on the body is the same. PS You must be very fit cause pianos are bloody heavy!

Leslie:

If you're not getting liquids down you should call your doctor. You can get dehydrated pretty quickly. Dehydration can cause very serious medical issues.

I hope things improve soon. Please let us know.

Take care.

I can do liquids fine now. Thank god. And eating is improving a little, this piano is 900lbs... took 4 of us to lift the thing. Uggh

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
