kmonson 0 Posted October 12, 2008 Thanks for the welcome. I checked out your blog and i love it! Your sense of humor is great. Youahev inspired me and maybe I will start one of my own. How are things going for you? I am starting to get a little nervous. I have two young kids and I wa making macaroni and cheese for them and of course stealing a couple of bites. I stopped and was like wait a minute you can not do this. Also coffee is my crutch and I dont knwo how I am going to do without it. I imagine I shoudl begin weaning from it now (as I sit here and take a sip from my mug).
MacMadame 81 Posted October 12, 2008 It's different when you get hunger control though. OTOH, the surgery is only on your stomach, not your head. So you may have to do some head work too. It depends on what your food issues mostly are.
LanieB 0 Posted October 13, 2008 Kmonson - So why do you have to give up your coffee? None of the paperwork I have mentioned that. Would this be temporary or long-term? Your surgery date is set for the day after mine. Good luck! Elaine
kmonson 0 Posted October 13, 2008 The nutritionist an dth epsychologist told me. Apparently it upsets the stomach and is a diuretic.I do knwo some peoppl that still have coffee. I guess each person is different. So are you ready for your surgery? I seriously can not wait.
LanieB 0 Posted October 13, 2008 I only drink one cup in the mornings, and I hope I don't have to give that up. Yes, I'm excited about getting this done. Wish it were already over with. I'm not a patient person. I've been over-indulging lately, I suppose because I know I'll have to give up so many foods that I love starting two weeks from now.
