mrsteacher 0 Posted October 12, 2008 I have also turned in all of my medical records. I have two insurances (Family through my husband, bcbs Federal and individual through my work.) I have a BMI of 40. I do not know if this will be enough. I was told by word of mouth in this area that the only comorbid conditions that are looked at are type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea. They won't look at my significant family history of diabetes and they aren't too worried about "bad" knees. I found that if I completely relax my posture, I can go from 5'4 to 5'3". That will help when they are caculating my BMI. That will push me closer to 41BMI and a better chance. I never thought that I would be excited to be at a 41BMI, but when I am always stuck at a 39 and can't go down, it is a relief to know that help might be on the way. I will cross my right hand fingers for you, and my left fingers for me. :crying:
