Hi Max I have heard the way to break a weight loss plateau is to zig zag your food intake and execrcise plans. You change your diet maybe even eat more calories ever other day and less than normal the next day.If you walk or jog maybe try weights or swimming. But you lost 50 pounds that something to Celebrate about what would have happened if not banded? But one thing is for sure just stay the course and the scale will start to move again.

Max, you've lost 50 lbs. That's great! I don't know how to break plateaus but I do know about self-sabotage so don't go there. Just because you take one bad step doesen't mean you now have to plummet all the way to the bottom. Just shake it off, focus on the goal.

Max,

To have a plateau is perfectly natural. We all get them. It's nothing to worry about in the longer term view, which is what you should try to focus on. I've had several plateaus and they have all gone after a time. You've got to try to stay positive and give yourself a reasonable timescale to lose the weight. I gave myself a year, which has gone really quickly.

You've done really well so far to lose the 50 pounds - the plateau will go - honest.
