Granny05 0 Posted October 9, 2008 :thumbup:Hi, everyone - I am a 53 year old wife, mother, grandmother from Savannah, MO. I had my surgery on October 1st. I have lost 5 pounds in one week - 20 total since my 2 week preop liquid diet started. I am nervous and a little apprehensive - I have lost weight before but have never been able to keep it off so this is my final ditch effort to get healthy and stay that way! Thanks for this site - I can already see that it is going to be a terrific source of support. Granny
Mrs. Bubba 0 Posted October 9, 2008 Hey, you sound just like me except I'm 56 and I was banded on 8-21. I've lost 43 pounds altogether. I'm wishing it would come off faster, but I realize that isn't what this is about. I've lost lots before only to have it come back.. I'm tired of feeling great about myself only to have to bear the shame when it comes back!!!! I think we have finally got this going the right way.. Best of luck to you...
