suetigg2 0 Posted October 6, 2008 Hello, as some of you know Yom Kippur is in a few days. I had the band 4 months ago and was wondering how to go about the holiday. Do I fast? can I fast? Any suggestions? Thanks Sue
momma66 0 Posted October 6, 2008 I did last year I had my band less than a month, just be careful when you start eating and drinking to take your time...I would start with a cup of tea, or something warm to open you up more...

God understands :crying: I completely agree. I'm not planning on fasting ... a month out and I'm barely eating as it is. I'm thinking of this as an extended fast
sim78 0 Posted October 12, 2008 I was only three days post op and I fasted it was the easiest fast I have ever had. And for those who are extremly religous its not really an option not to fast.
momma66 0 Posted October 12, 2008 I'm not extremely religious, and still would and did fast, I personally wouldn't want to take a chance....
