Notorious November Weightloss Spreadsheet

Today I decided to make a spreadsheet for us. So if and when you have certain info for the spreadsheet that is mentioned below just post it here and I will try to update the spreadsheet as often as possible.

  • Surgery date
  • Highest Weight
  • Preop diet starting weight
  • Surgery weight (Your weight the day of surgery)
  • Current weight
  • Goal weight

When you find out let me know. The spreadsheet can be viewed at:

Surgery date: 11/3/08

Highest weight: 252lbs.

Goal weight: 150lbs.

I'll post again when I start my pre-op then again after surgery. Great idea! Thanks Froggi!

Preop diet starting weight: Haven't started yet

Surgery weight: N/A

Current weight: 262lbs

Goal weight: 135lbs

One month! Eep! I'm getting just a teeny bit excited. :tt2:

Highest Weight: 272lbs

Preop diet starting weight: Haven't started yet

Surgery weight: won't know till November 24th

Current weight: 262lbs

Goal weight: 138lbs

Surgery weight means what you weigh on the day of surgery :) I will update the spread sheet now

Highest Weight: 260lbs

Preop diet weight: I need to start! ok I am starting-258

Surgery weight: ?

Current : 258lbs

Goal : 145lbs

ok..I just edited this. The more I have thought about it, the more excited I have gotten. I am starting Pre-Op tomorrow!

Count me in! I'm starting my pre-op diet today (30 days out) even though I'm only required to do 7 days of pre-op diet.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
