Donna0526 0 Posted October 7, 2008 I've had the same problem since surgery. My surgery was on 9/12 and I had my first bowel movement about a week later, and the second last week. This is very unusual for me; I have always been very regular -- everyday at approximately the same time!! I have used Miralax and have also starting eating Activia yogurt. Hopefully, the yogurt will work as advertised.

terilynn112 1 Posted October 7, 2008 I bought activia for that reason. Didn't believe the ads, but I'll tell you, since starting mushies, (and I start real food today) I can tell you this.... it's a lifesaver for me. And only 70 calories (light version), for 4 ounces. Leaves me feeling full, and I go almost daily, little bits. But if I miss a day, I'll go right back to constipated. Oh I tried the miralax, the colace, and even the benefiber. Not much relief, just lots of gas. Teri
Jillbeme65 1 Posted October 7, 2008 I have had this problem since surgery 07/30/08. We tried everything.. Now on Colace 200 twice a day and a magnesium tablet. On top of it all I have pulled my back out... I sound like a whine bag... But I hurt... I was just the opposite before surgery could go all the time(sorry for being gross).. I hope these meds work.. But I would hope they would wait until I get off work:):cursing:
