HELP! When can I sleep 'normal' again?

I did not sleep in my bed for two months. It was horrible....but my surgeon said some people just take that long to heal. My port was extremely painful and even lying down was impossible. The first night I finally slept on my stomach was a miracle. It will get better....don't worry.

Same thing happened to me when I had a c-section. I couldn't sleep in my bed with my husband for weeks it seemed.

Honestly, I can't remember how long it was exactly, but it was at least two weeks. And, even then sleeping on my side on my back hurt a lot.

Those darn abdominal muscles.
