Hi, No I have never heard of him but of course I am in Texas and only have looked up Texas doctors. So how long did it take for you to find out you were approved? I havent even started that process but would like to know how that process went, just trying to weigh out all the good and bad!!!!

I must say it was really quick! I walked into the office, they took my information, said I had great insurance for this and took all my health information, figured BMI, etc. This was on Wednesday. Today is Monday and I'm waiting for an answer from the insurance specialist at Baptist Metabolic Surgery to tell me if I'm pre-certified or not. Some places make you try other options first for up to 6 months, mine doesn't. They gave me a couple of online codes to informational programs on this procedure and gastric bypass. I watched them over the weekend. So far the process seems much easier than I had anticipated. At least the process leading up to the actual surgery...
