kaytiebugs 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I understand why the shoulder pain happens... but how long before it stops? Does Gas X actually help the pain? If not, what does?
jazma 16 Posted September 30, 2008 The GS X did not help me..I used a heating pad and walked alot. The heating pad did wonders and helped so much. I only used pain meds for two days.
Judy_AL 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I was banded Sept 24, 2008 - yep just last Wednesday! I did not have have the gas pain and I was like when are they are going to start up! lol I started walking as soon as it was clear and knew I have survived everything. I was very shocked and I'm not one to sit around and hurt and not ask for med's - but it ended up that I did not have to take med's for pain while I was in the hosptial for this. Believe me I was totally shocked by it! lol And I know everyone is not the same. I really was dreading the gas pains - but it never happened. So the best advise I can give is dont worry about things until they happen - cause then you have wasted that time worrying about something that did not even happen. Oh and another big thing for me - I prayed about it all and left it in HIS hands and that was the true medicine for me! Good luck!
stevegoad 32 Posted September 30, 2008 3 days, 2 hours, 34 minutes with gas-X. OK, that was sarcastic. It lasted for me about 3 days.
JasonSWrench 3 Posted September 30, 2008 I had shoulder pain for almost 5 days. I was told that moving around and specifically moving your arms and shoulders does help to get rid of it faster.
