Clear liquids are anything clear or semi-transluscent. Examples would be chicken, beef or vegetable stock, Crystal Light, Jello, cordials. Full liquids are thick and opaque. Examples would be Cream of [anything] Soup (not the thick & chunky varieties, those are mushies), plain yogurt (if it's got fruit chunks, it's a mushy), Optifast.< /p>

My team defines clear liquids as any that you could read through and full liquids are anything strained that could be sucked up a straw.

Now some people had cautions about straws. My team never gave me that limitation.

so clears were things like: Water, crystal light, coffee, tea, light fruit juices, broths, etc.

Fulls were things like: cream of whatever Soups, Protein shakes, thinned yogurt, anything liquified with a blender or magic bullet, etc.

Hope that helps.

I used to work in the hospital and we served these A LOT.

Clear liquids are anything you can see through, broth, Jello, italian ice, tea, crystal light...

Full liquids are thicker and not clear. pudding, cream Soup, icecream, milk. and I have actually seen cream of wheat served on the full liquid diet. I wouldnt suggest eating that though, I tried and it made me sick.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
