luvsmysgt 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I have to tell you that my cold feet came in the hospital right before the surgery and right after the surgery. I thought "what in the heck was I thinking?" but you know I thought about my family and all the things that I have been missing out on for so long due to my weight and I suddenly remembered that my reasons were valid and "YaY" for me! Just hang in there and don't let your nerves stop you from gaining control of your life again! Good luck and keep in touch , Let me know how it goes.
luvsmysgt 0 Posted September 30, 2008 You know I was one of the lucky ones who really didn't experience and problems besides the gas left in there causing shoulder pain(ongoing) and severe Constipation after just the first day. That was nothing though. I was up at my sons soccer game the next day and cleaning my house two days later. I do not work unless you count domestic Goddess but I was finally able to bend over and pick up my floor for the first time about 8 days after the surgery. Good luck and stay in touch we will be here for you every step of the way. Ashlee
luvsmysgt 0 Posted September 30, 2008 I am doing great! I couldn't have asked for an easier recovery to be quite honest. I love the feeling of being full even if it is only for a little bit with the liquids. I have to admit I have cheated a bit and ate mac & cheese but I have drank it down I think I just needed that chewing sensation. I personally feel like I am ready to move on to solid foods but the docs are saying "no". So for now I will just keep up with the liquid and remember that there is an end to the liquid diet. Good luck with yours and let me know how your recovery goes. Ashlee P.S. how do you put your "signature" on there? specifically your ticker? I tried with no success. Help would be wonderful.
