I have just started the process for getting ready for lap band. I went to my seminar in Sept and have went for my consultation. I have my sleep study scheduled for Oct 31st, and my psychologist and Physical Therapy scheduled for Oct 13th. I am excited and ready. Any tips from anyone.I am also on Weight Watchers during my 6 month waiting period for insurance. Anyone else in the same cycle I am in?

Welcome! Not where you are exactly...but wanted to tell you hello. WW is a good diet; when will your 6 months be up? I like WW a lot but wore out on counting and weighing and writing everything. However it is very healthy and works for lots of people! I'm glad, though that my ins didn't require me to do a 6-month diet; I've done SO MANY! LOL

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
