Hello.

I am not new here. I want to start by asking you all to please forgive me for signing up for a new account. I have been sick a lot here lately and cannot for the life of me rememeber what my user name was before, but I have this one down and saved so I will not forget it.

I'd like to ask a question if I may.

I am going through the six month diet right now and am having my surgery in December from what I have been told.

In the pre-op diet, it has a list of things that it says I am not allowed to have, such as bread etc..

It also says that I have to keep it under 40 grams of carbs for each day.

So, seeing how I will not be on the two week pre-op and this is it, as the six months will end in December which is when I will be having the surgery, my question is ... could I not still have the breads etc... as long as I am really keeping up with how many carbs I have in a day and make sure that I keep it under 40?

Thanks,

Bleste

This is a question best left to your surgeon. Each doctor has their own requirements that really should be followed the way that they give them. Just give the doctor's office a call and ask. That way you will know for sure what they expect of you. Good luck!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
