I'm so sorry you are going through all of this. No matter what may come you don't give up the more you stress over this the worse it is going to get. So stop and tell your self you are going to make it. I know it is cold but maybe if you go for a walk when you are feeling so stressed out or go to the gym if you can do something to let out the stress. write down your feels. Pray that God will make you stronger. I will be praying for you also I know want you are going through so you are not alone. I you feel like screaming go ahead and scream you can write in upper case here and I'll know you are screaming. what ever you have gained back it can't compare to how much you have lost. I think I would only let my doctor mess with my band if I was you.

Hi My band friends,

I've been busy and not getting on the net too much. But our journey isn't ever far from my mind. I worked out last week and did something so I'm a bit stoved up. But getting better. My eating has been poor so I'm going to work on that..portions and more veggies..this week. And maybe some crunches.

I keep saying I'm going to get another fill. I keep putting it off. I think just a drop might make a difference, but I keep rationalizing it that such and such is coming up and I don't want to have problems..sheesh. What is up with me? :frown:

I'm hoping for a road trip to Boise this next weekend with my parents to see my lil brother. He build me a custom fireplace mantel and surround so I'm exicted. Just hope the weather works with me!!

Hello all, just swinging by to check in. I've started a controversial diet, but its working and I love it! Because of my esophagus surgery, I pretty much ate ice cream every day!!! I gained up to 178.9. Being on this new diet, I'm down to 168.9 this morning in 10 days! So I'm happy about that.

My sugar cravings are leaving me finally, and I've stuck to the diet like glue and haven't cheated once. I will be on on it for 40 days, then you do a three week maintenance phase, then a three week break phase, and then you can start another round if you have more to loose, if you have less than 20 to lose, you do 23 days, if you have more than 20, you can do up to 40 days. I think my next round I will be pretty close to goal!

Anyhow, its a doctor supervised diet here, but its so expensive I decided to do it on my own and ordered the stuff online that I take. And I will say, it is working! Its expensive, but its working. I have absolutely no hunger, its like when I first got the band. Anyhow, just thought I would share that with you guys.

Sula - hang in there, my eating got way out of cotrol, I was ready to throw in the towel and just except me and my weight for what it was. But I couldn't bare to see the scales keep going up. So I am trying something a little different. Have fun on your trip!

Confused - I hate being overfilled! I finally convinced my doctor to quit taking all the Fluid out each and every time, when he does that, it messes with the positioning of my band. And now that he has quit doing that, I'm finally getting some real restriction. Being overtight is just as bad as not having a enough fill IMO.

Well I'm almost back to the fill restriction that I was before they decided to over fill me. I had stopped working out because I fell back into the thinking that I can do everything for everyone all the time, when I do that I always take myself out of the loop. Well I have stopped babysitting for my step sister cause that was taking up alot of my time, and I'm on spring break from school...so I have started exercising again...so now I'm back in the loop. It also helps that I had to get weighted and mesured on this past Thursday...up 10 pounds and 8 inches...theirs the kick in the butt that I think I really needed.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hey everyone! Well, I'm officially back on the wagon. I get my first post-pregnancy fill on the 23rd, and I go back to work full time that week too. DH and I have worked out a deal where he will pick the kids up from daycare three days a week so I can go to the gym after work. So relieved about that.

I'm feeling pretty frumpy. I'm still 20 pounds up from my lowest, and nothing fits (thank you pregnancy). Good thing I wear scrubs to work or I'd go broke buying new clothes. For now I live in yoga pants and long sleeve tees. I haven't put on makeup for three months, and I'm in definite need of a haircut. I think going back to work is the best thing -- at least it will get me to look presentable!

Anyway, my little guy is doing great. He's 10 weeks old now and up to 7lbs 5oz. Still no health problems, so we were lucky.

Hope you guys are well!

'm back. I've been awol and all to my detriment. I haven't weighed in since January and put on 6 pounds. So, time to get serious. I'll be back to catch up with everyone, but it is a clear message that I need to be attentive and come to my support group.

Hope you are all doing well.

Hmmm, just saw someone had the nickname of skinnyjeans.. Wish I could fit in some..but I'm guessing some of you already do.

I'm doing good and eating on program. I came down with some sort of crude, so I'm home all day and just dozing on the couch. I hope to be back in fine fettle by tomorrow!! How are you all doing?

Getting over a cold here myself. We've all been passing it around. I just hope my little guy doesn't catch it!

I'm in a planning stage right now. Planning food and meals and how I'm going to handle food at work. I'm excited the weather is turning nice, so I can go for walks on my lunch hour.

BTW, definitely NOT in skinny jeans here!

Diffently not skinny jeans, I have thighs that I call tree trunks. They don't look good in skinny jeans. DH thinks the thighs are changing shape...I can't see it but he thinks my legs are looking pretty good.

The weather here is also changing and I really can't wait for summer, happy with spring and watching all my tulips coming up...but I'm really a hot weather girl.

I don't want skinny jeans, I just want the ability to say that I have lost a hundred pounds...I want my 100, that's all.

Good morning. Think I've had a good eating week and ready to keep after it. I haven't weighed in yet this morning but I will. I haven't been able to get too far from the powder room and think I might have picked up some viral intestinal thingy..which is still kicking in me but a bit more managable right now. And definately don't feel like someone beat me!! Even managed some manual labor by cleaning a bunch of corrals yesterday. Expecting a baby horse in April so needed to get some cleaned.

Anyway, I don't wear skinny jeans either but it would be nice to think I could. I don't think they look all that good. But then in my opinion, neither do the hip huggers on me. But I've got em cuz sometimes that is all I could find. Uggg.

Slowing getting to feel better. Not so achey in my lower tummy this morning...gives me hope that it has run its course.

Sticking to my guns with eating.

And I'm two weeks away from my breast reduction surgery!! I'm scared and excited.

Yep, had a good week last week altho the stomach cramping part lingered in till wednesday. The other problem resolved itself (I could get away from the powder room!)

I don't do so good on my weekends. I still really watched portions..but I guess it is just calorie dense. I'm going to hit it hard this week. Surgery a week from tomorrow. Yikes!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
