I had a LOT of pain those first few days, but I still slept in my bed cause I can't sleep propped up. Getting up and getting down was hard and I needed help with it for the first day, but being in the lying down position didn't hurt.

About the stairs, when I first got home I was still dizzy from the anesthesia and wasn't up to the stairs right away, but after resting for about 3-4 hours and getting it all out of my system I managed them just fine.
